What are you waiting for? Get ready, get set, and hop into an open-top jeep or air-conditioned mini bus to the northern side of the island. You'll be left gasping at breathtaking scenery along some of the highest points, with views of both the Caribbean and the Atlantic.

Discover a new world: travel through local villages to wrap your mind around local life, visit historical forts, waterwheels and old clay ovens, you might even catch a local baking fresh bread. Stop at tumbling waterfalls and submerge yourself in their deep pools, then sit down to mouthwatering local cuisine.

Having eaten your fill, it's our afternoon delight to drive you through the mystically ancient rainforest to some of the loveliest beaches on the Caribbean side. An unforgettable coastal drive that will leave you yearning for more.

Main Ridge Rainforest

to the clouds and back…

Our lovely island will take you to the clouds and back, but on the way, be sure to stop at the Main Ridge rainforest, a natural phenomenon like no other. Take in the flora and fauna on the trail that appeals to you (some take more time and energy than others), with a relaxing stroll or a trek to the top, capturing amazing shots of our indigenous wildlife.

Join us for a half day with varying times, or spend the whole day with lunch and a trip to the waterfalls.

Bring water and insect repellent, and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Day trip

to Englishman's Bay or Castara…

This ideally quiet and relaxing trip takes you up the Caribbean coastline on a bus, along a scenic route to Castara and Englishman's Bay. Swim, snorkel, or just laze on a true Robinson Crusoe beach, where fresh, moist air from the rainforest sprinkles the sand and the breeze reaches through the palm trees out to the beach.

This beach is scintillating, so live it up, soak up the sun and just have fun!

Little Tobago

offshore bird sanctuary…

There are birds everywhere, but nothing as magnificent as those at the Little Tobago bird sanctuary. Imagine a whole island dedicated just to birds. After an incredible hike to the top, feast your eyes on the glorious Audubon's Shearwater, Brown Booby, Brown Noddy, Sooty and Bridled Terns, Frigate bird, and Red-billed Tropicbird nesting with their chicks.

On the journey back, get ready to get wet at the Japanese Garden or the famous Angel Reef, snorkel to your heart's delight over the largest brain corals, manta rays, turtles, and a reef teeming with marine life.

Little Tobago lies off Speyside, at Tobago's northeast tip. The crossing passes the reefs of Goat Island, and some of our trips go by glass-bottom boat; ask when you book.

Bird Watchers Tour

for the avid bird watchers…

Take out your binoculars and be warned: you can see over 60 species of birds in their natural habitats at Buccoo Marsh, Grafton Sanctuary or Petit Trou Lagoon, egrets, lapwings, herons, kingfishers, sandpipers, plovers and many more.

Wetlands are scarce in Tobago, so migrant shorebirds have few places to feed. Buccoo Marsh has produced most of Tobago's records of Old World species, as well as Trinidad and Tobago's first record of Wilson's Phalarope. Also seen: Least Grebe, Pied-billed Grebe, Anhinga, Scarlet Ibis (rarely), whistling ducks, Masked Duck, Osprey, Merlin, Rufous-vented Chachalaca, Black-bellied Plover and many more. Bring binoculars and wear comfortable walking shoes. It is best to visit early in the morning, when the sun is behind you.

Turtle watching

an experience of a lifetime…

Tobago is one of the main nesting grounds for the giant leatherback turtle. Get your night on as you journey to view these majestic creatures making their way up the beach to lay their precious eggs. In season, March to August, you can see them most nights, and possibly catch pictures as they glide back out to sea.
